Stopped in for a late dinner when we were in town. My son had their salmon sandwich, and I had their walleye. Someone at the table also enjoyed their Philly cheese steak. Salads were delicious. I also noticed their kids' menu was pretty cheap and were full portion meals. Nice interior and polite staff. We'll be back for sure to try more dishes off their menu.

Amazing food & great service! We ate here twice while staying at the motel across the street & now I'm bummed we don't live nearby! Everything was very fresh and cooked perfectly.

The food was delicious. I had the Parmesan crusted walleye and my husband had the whitefish. I can't wait to go back and try other menu items.

Went for Valentine's Day night for dinner and had Lobster Ravioli with cod and Shrimp skewers, it was so delicious!! Compliments to the chef!! Kari Heikkinen was our waitress and she is so wonderful and great at her job!! We go here regularly and have never been disappointed!! 10 Stars

Galicia Tavern is hands down my favorite dining spot in the Keweenaw. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a blend of rustic charm and modern touches that make you feel right at home. The menu is thoughtfully curated, offering a range of dishes that are both comforting and creative. Whether you’re in the mood for something hearty or light, every meal is made with fresh, quality ingredients. The staff is attentive and genuinely friendly, adding to the overall experience. If you’re in the area, Galicia Tavern is a must-visit.

I've been to alot of places around the houghton, baraga, and keweenaw counties to eat and glacia has by far the best service, food, drinks, and atmosphere around. I would 10/10 recommended to anyone looking for a great restaurant for date night, a casual night out, or just drinks, always a great time.

We were on a snowmobile ride with the women when one of the snowmobiles broke down. This was the closest place to tow it. So we had dinner before we went to get the truck and trailer. They had a cast iron seared pork blade steak special, my compliments to the chef the meal was spectacular I should have ordered 2 meals. This was the first restaurant that I have ever been to that has offered a pork blade steak. The staff was awesome, and so was atmosphere. Keep up the great work, everyone. I will be back at least twice a year on my vacations. Many thanks
